Ahmed spent 15 years inside freight forwarding — managing P&L, operations, and sales at major forwarders including Geodis — before founding Zavin. He holds an MBA in Finance and is a second-time founder. Zavin exists because of what those 15 years looked like up close: “I was the one chasing RFQs at 11pm and re-keying data between systems that never talked.” He writes about quoting economics, AI adoption, and the operating model of modern forwarding.
